Beginning Therapy

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step.

If you’re considering therapy, you don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Many people come in feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to begin, that’s completely okay and welcomed even!

This page is here to help you understand what getting started looks like so you can move at a pace that feels right for you.

What You Can Expect

We may focus on building coping tools, exploring patterns, processing experiences when you’re ready, or simply creating space to be heard and understood. Therapy at Wild & Worthy is collaborative, client-centered, and flexible to your needs and capacity.

There is no “right way” to do therapy here.

Steps to Get Started

Reaching Out

You can contact me in whatever way feels easiest:

Free Consultation (Optional)

This initial connection is simply a chance to ask questions, get a feel for the process, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.

There’s no pressure to decide right away.

Intake Session

If we decide to work together, we’ll schedule your first full session. We may begin by exploring what brought you in, what to expect from therapy, your current challenges and goals, your history, what you’d like support with moving forward, and/or anything else you’d like.

You don’t need to tell your whole story at once. We go at your pace.
