Our Approach

Healing is a process of reconnecting with yourself at your own pace. You deserve a space with support, care, and room for all of your experiences.

Wild & Worthy Therapy is a trauma-informed practice rooted in compassion, autonomy, and empowerment. Therapy here is collaborative and supportive, guided by your needs and paced in a way that honors your readiness.

Together, we create a space where all parts of you are welcome, even the ones that feel messy, uncertain, or hard to name. This is a place to explore your experiences without judgment, build trust, and begin to reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way. Making space, when it feels possible, for moments of lightness, curiosity, and even a bit of whimsy along the way.

Hi, I’m Julia!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate based in Louisville, Colorado, and the founder of Wild & Worthy Therapy. I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating trauma (particularly sexual trauma) as well as anxiety, depression, and challenges related to identity and self-worth. I also support clients in psychedelic integration work through a trauma-informed and harm-reduction lens.

I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to heal and reconnect. Therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’re carrying painful or complex experiences. My goal is to create an environment that feels caring, supportive, and welcoming of all emotions and experiences.

My approach is warm, relational, and client-centered. I work collaboratively with my clients, moving at a pace that feels right while building trust and compassion within the therapeutic relationship. Creating a space where clients can feel secure and supported. Each person’s experience is unique, and I tailor our work together to meet your individual needs.
I draw from a range of evidence-based practices, including EMDR, parts work, somatic awareness, mindfulness, DBT, and narrative therapy, always with a focus on supporting meaningful, lasting change.

What Therapy Can Look Like

Therapy at Wild & Worthy is not one-size-fits-all. We move at your pace, focusing on:

  • Building safety and trust
  • Encouraging autonomy and choice
  • Listening to your story without judgment
  • Reframing harmful narratives
  • Reconnecting with your body and intuition
  • Creating sustainable, meaningful change

Who I Work With

You might be here if you’re…

  • Healing from trauma or sexual trauma
  • Feeling disconnected from yourself
  • Struggling with anxiety or depression
  • Carrying shame, guilt, or self-doubt
  • Navigating identity, relationships, or life transitions

You don’t have to navigate this on your own.

If this feels like a good fit, I’m here to connect.
